This is a comprehensive course covering the basics of drawing with pencils, charcoal, pen & ink and oil & soft pastels and painting with watercolours, gouache, inks and acrylic paint. Each lesson starts with an introduction to materials, followed by simple mark marking exercises. Then a small drawing or painting will be completed. All lessons involve step by step demonstrations as well as constructive 1:1 feedback. Sometimes we will draw from life and other times copy from print outs. Topics classes last for 1 session, however some will last for 2 sessions.
No previous experience is required, just the willingness to try out new skills and sometimes make mistakes. Most of all a sense of humour is essential!
Looking forward to meeting you and if you have any questions please get in touch!
